This has been a busy week for baby (and mom and dad).
Morgan is now starting to cruise. She’s not content with just standing anymore, now she wants to get places while in the vertical. Pretty awesome (and pretty scary at the same time).
She got to spend some time with dad at Strong Start yesterday and wow’d him by climbing in and out of the round padded barrier in the play room. This is the same padded barrier that she only just started pulling herself up on 2 weeks ago (!).
So after months of on again, off again teething sessions, Morgan finally cut her first tooth!
Way to go Morgan! (9 months and 1 day)
It’s so hard to believe that 9 months have gone by. Morgan is now 19 lbs 2.5 ozs and 28.5 inches long. She’s getting to be such a big girl.
Morgan is getting to be a real handful now. She wants things done her way right when she wants them. We are starting to think that the idea of no diaper is not as silly anymore. Morgan refuses to cooperate for diaper changes. She now rolls over as soon as her diaper is undone. Oh well, I guess she’s growing up!

★ Cruising (well, it was one step, but she did do it)

Well here we are and another month has gone by. Morgan has now been out in the real world as long as I was pregnant!
I can’t believe how the time has flown. Morgan has been such a joy, especially now that she is laughing up a storm at anything and everything.
We have had a very major triumph this month. We are all finally sleeping!!! Of course as I say this Morgan has a cold and her sleep has been slightly upset these last few nights, but she really is sleeping.
Matthew and I finally put up her growth chart. It’s really amazing to see the change in heights over the last 8 months.

Wow, what a month it has been!
Matthew managed to take a couple of weeks off for Christmas so we all had some great family time.
It’s hard to believe that 7 months have gone by. Morgan is now 17 1/2 Lbs, and still 27″ long.
