Mainstay Computing, established in 2000 by Matthew Lehmann, is a home-based business located in Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia that offers on-site technical support for both residential and commercial customers. This includes computer repairs, troubleshooting of system and network errors, consulting on security and privacy issues, web site design, and teaching and training. We are committed to delivering professional, digital solutions that are tailored to meet the needs of our customers.

Upon completion of his Masters of Applied Science (Engineering Degree) from UBC in 2003, Matthew returned to the Sunshine Coast where he has enjoyed an overwhelmingly positive response. Joined by his wife, Elizabeth (BSc. UBC), Mainstay Computing has developed a solid reputation for being reliable, honest, and effective.

Over the past 12 years, Mainstay Computing has grown to realize many of the objectives established in the original business plan.  We have enjoyed celebrating our milestones and sharing our success with our colleagues, customers, and community.  Mainstay Computing is constantly refining and polishing the services that it offers and fostering new relationships with local businesses, local residents, local educational facilities (Capilano University), and local support services (WorkSafeBC and the Sunshine Coast Regional District).

We have grown from a small, humble, concept in a UBC lab to a business that offers services to over 700 customers around the globe.  We have also had the privilege to teach and train over a thousand students in the classroom through Capilano University and the University of British Columbia

 

Summary of what we do:

We provide computer repair and support for both Macintosh and Windows computers in Sechelt and Gibsons, BC. We also provide web design and web development services.

We live on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia and happily serve: Gibsons, Elphinstone, Sechelt, Roberts Creek, Wilson Creek, Davis Bay, Halfmoon Bay, Pender Harbour, Madeira Park, Garden Bay, Langdale, and Granthams Landing.
